Challenge: Fashion advertising is typically cool pictures and logos. Bring more meaningful conceptual thinking to fashion. Give your brand a personality. Put a stake in the ground.

Insight: Vintage fashion is gaining popularity because it’s revealing that apparel today is not “made like it used to be.”

Idea: Converse has always had a vintage vibe - their classic design has not changed much since the beginning and their shoes have stayed consistent in quality. We’re bringing vintage back into the spotlight through revitalizing old video games to kick-start a retro revolution in the fashion world.

Case Study

Shoe Designs & Shoe Boxes

We created shoe designs based on three 8-bit style video games: Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Space Invaders. Converse comes out with specialty designs on occasion, so we designed shoes that not only embody the brand's aesthetic, but bring vintage back into the spotlight.

We created these shoe boxes as a result of an insight that consumers who are interested in shoe designs like to have collectors' items.

Kick It with Converse Event

Popup arcades with the vintage games/machines will go up in major cities around the country. Each city will have an all day event where participants can go and play the vintage games from open to close. The top four scorers of each of the three games will receive a winner package, including our new line of shoes.
